Looking for experienced Handyman

Smart Homes LLC has a Handyman Job Opening and is looking for talented people to join our team. Someone who is good with tools and enjoys technology. Qualified candidates must have a good understanding of residential remodeling with technology.  You could be working on a variety of task that involve in-depth home remodeling and or the installation of Smart Technology. Successful candidates may be working closely with other team members on large remodeling projects or with customers on a variety of installation projects and must maintain a clean, professional image that represents both Smart Homes LLC and themselves as a responsible professional.  Work location will be throughout the Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Corrales, metro area.

Must have some General remodeling experience. The following is a plus: trim work, carpentry work, framing, drywall / texture, painting, light plumbing, electrical, floor coverings, tile work, etc.

Some candidates may be working as an Installation Technician installing a variety of Smart Home technology devices. Must be comfortable working with tools, standing on ladder, interacting with customers and a variety of apps on a phone or tablet.

Must have a “want-to” attitude as we will train successful candidates as necessary. Creative thinking on how to apply smart technology is also a plus.

Ability to lift heavy objects, work on remodel job sites, and start early mornings.

Follows safety practices to safeguard against injury and damage to property.

Ability to keep a job site clean and safe.

Ability to work overtime as required and participate in customer scheduled jobs.

Must be able to work without supervision.

Must be an effective communicator.

Punctual and Honest

Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.

Having your own tools a plus but not required.
